KLM of 1947 We, the Senior Class of '47, declaring ourselves to be sane and sound of mind, lalthough that will be questioned by somel do will and bequeath the following items to Union's underclassmen: James Garvey, John McAninch, Fred Oser, George Tribett and Lawrence Williams will their past experiences with the Navy to any of the boys consid- ering themselves overtaxed with the burdens of Union High's school life. Harry Beuke leaves his unique way of dancing to Tony Martini hoping he won't gripe at the Union girls for the way they dance. The unused credits and the remainder of Albert Martin's school year go to Mike Fallova. He surely needs them. Nancy Fullerton leaves her ability to impersonate those fascinating movie actresses to Betty McSword. Pauline Judge wills her position of drum major to any majorette talented enough to fill her place. Henry Crebs is left by Joan Getkosky to the class of 248 hoping that they will handle with care as well as observe the sign No Trespassingl To Martha Bartolovic and Harry Brubaker, Johnny Canestraro and Frank Mele leave their first chairs in band hoping they will be able to stop romanc- ing long enough to keep them. Deloris Moorehouse leaves her tactics of trying to take other girls' men to Patty James who wants them about as badly as Dee Dee tries to get them. them. Mary Jean Straghan, Terry Lou Ralbusky, Mary Ann Kleindeler and Mar- garet Kramer leave their places in the Benwood Gang to the oncoming students from the Mill Town. Sue Ann Peters leaves her seat in Moore's tc Jo Ann Bitte' who already has a head start. If the class of '48 promises not to tresspass on private and personal property, Nick Renzella will leave Patty James in their care. To Dolores Meyers, Daryl McGinnis leaves her position as head cheer- leader. lPlus a box of aspirinl Mike Latka leaves his place in Miss Peel's good graces to any underclass- man unfortunate enough to be in American History class. Martin Mason leaves his position as captain of the lronmen football team to any well deserving athlete in the class of '48. Deloris Moorehouse, Blanche Sadaly, Betty Anderson and Dorothy Shut- tlesworth leave their cheerleading positions to Lois Oser, Phyllis Jochum, Rosemary Krupica and Joanna Vani with the hope that they'll keep 'em cheering. To Gertrude Finnegan, Gloria Lowers leaves her abundance of beautiful hair. We're sure everybody else will be glad even if Gertrude doesn't appre- ciate it. Tom Welch bequeoths his position on the oak to Duke Marple who is right in the groove already. Max Szymialis leaves his most familiar De Soto to Eddie Burley with the hope he'll keep it better than he does his present car. Maisie Metz leaves her lovely voice to Peggy Hawkins and Helen Thomp- son. They can fight over that, too. Bobbie Smith leaves her souveniers from Fort Knox to any collector desirous of them.

KLM W! of 1947 Katy Webb leaves her position as band member to any underclassmen desirous of it. Here's hoping there'll be many for band members surely are needed. To any sucker goes Bud Logston's position as official caretaker of cer- tain lronmen gridders. Gloria Lowers and Glen Wells leave their seats in Probs. class to Phyllis Barker and Jack Warsinsky hoping that they will have better luck in sitting nearer each other for the benefit of the rest of the class. Joanne Leeds and Dolores Dawson leave Donald Dellget to the girls of the junior class hoping desperately that the juniors won't fight over him as these seniors. Lois Jean Riedel's and Nancy Wilson's bright ideas of being old maids to Eileen Hossman and Phyllis Barker. Glen Wells leaves his position as end on the football team to any guy living up to Coach Jones' standards. Robert Coleman bequeaths his visits to 29th Street, Wheeling, to Bill Rider with his fingers crossed that Bill won't take him up on it. Stanley Chincheck leaves his wonderful ability to pitch a baseball to next year's baseball team for we firmly believe that they will be able to use it. Eileen Armstrong wills gracefulness and ability to play basketball to Nettie Martino. To Helen Thompson, Andy Mestrovic leaves his ability to make all A's. Alvin Tegarden's reckless driving goes to Gene Tribett who's already doing all right on his own. I Margaret Svrcek wills to Pat Thompson her femininity. She needs it. Virginia Klug leaves her high-stepping position to one of the many girls chosen last year. Mary Ann Gallagher leaves her executive ability to likely candidate, June Waggenhoffer. Jenny Fallova's smallness, we gladly leave to Viola Coppa. Norma Andreas and Alice Niebergall leave their Eternal friendship to Peggy Hawkins and Nancy Rial. lt's really fun talking, girls! Regina Burley leaves her A making ability to George Bartolovic. P. S. We, the class of '47 regretfully leave George behind, too, for unmentionable reasons. To Jean Hill and Bessie Marie Logston, Fayne Coen and Gerry Lucas leave their long journeys from the car barn to U. H. S. They're experienced hikers, we hope. Ella Mae Kuhens and Nellie Burke leave their mutual enthusiasm for Moundsville and for the weekly Vet. dances to anyone who likes this type of night life. Donald Haufe, wills his place in Miss Polley's good graces to sister, Joan. lShe probably won't need it, though.l Stella Grombka and Marg. Svrcek leave their compatibility to Dolores Gongola and Dorothy Modlinski who really don't need it. They're doing all right. George Byard wills his beautiful plaid shirts to Bill Kerns. Donald Stewart leaves his ability to bang-out Boogie-Woogie to Eugene Finnegan.
