' ' jeafwred This is the Twentieth Century-age of glamour, rapid movement, change and specialization. Of course Union has its special people, parties, and programs. To briefly mention some of them, there are the traditional leading man and leading lady, outstanding in ability, personality, and general attractiveness among our school family, the productions by the future Kathryn Cornells and Maurice Evans' who present the Junior and Senior Class Plays, a feature of the year, the Shop Minstrel, when the future welders, boiler-makers, mechanical and electrical engineers, and general all-around utility men, step out with a show that has come to be an eagerly awaited event. Of course THE SOCIAL EVENT is the Junior Senior Prom, when beautiful maidens and gallant cavaliers look their most glam- orous, while music, flowers, soft lights, romance, ahl ---- words fail us! There is also a more serious feature of our activities, proof that brains count as well as beauty, our National Honor Society. To this organization, Seniors who show leadership in school life gener- ally, as well as scholastic ability, look with hope of being elected for membership. So look at the various activities described as Features, and it's easy to understand how these various activities help make our journey on The Educational Railroad truly the Grand Tour during the best years of our lives.
