ZZOMM LEFT TO RIGHT-Wells, Kerns, Trubiano, Mason, Beecher, Oser, Kibert, J. Gongolo, Kas- serman, E. Gongola, Green, Crebs. Although they started slow, this year's grid squad was considered one of the best in the district. All games were well attended and each displayed the manifest ability of the lronmen on both offense and defense. Tying Moundsville in the final game of the season was the crowning glory of all games played. Adding to the honors given the Ironmen, Martin Mason and Bob Green were named on the O.V.A.C. Class A team with Emil Gongola and Glen Wells awarded honorable mention on this squad. Losing only four con- tests of eleven is truly admirable because this was Mr. Jones' first year of coaching since he returned from the service.
