Class of ’87 Seventh Grade The seventh graders, relatively unfamiliar with their new surroundings, entered our halls officially in August, 1981. Although they had visited Burgettstown High School last year during sixth grade orientation, the early days of the year were filled with wonder, amazement, and a certain amount of confusion. Most of the students were introduced to the new experiences of home economics, biology, and wood shop. Once they adjusted and got their bearings, the seventh graders elected Pam Pendeville as president. Marie Dorsey as vice-president, and Richard Rudy as secretary-treasurer. Although they have a long way to go yet, the seventh graders are already beginning to show signs that they will be ready when it comes time for them to take the reins of leadership.
