The day began at . ,Ll with a wet parade ext ling thru Bur- gettstown. .ncluded in the parade were: The Union High School Band. Avon- worth Marching Band, and the U, H, S, Band of 1931. Six floats created under the theme Movie Land Magic were as follows: Student Council-first prize -Wizard of Oz. F, T. A. -second-Mary Poppins. French Club-third-Gone With The Wind. Senior Class-Love Bug, Art Club-Charlie Chap- lin. Nurses Club-SnowWhlte and the Seven Dwarfs. Judges for the daywere: Mr. J. ll. Forman-Climax representative, Mrs. Plate-Platc's Dress Shop, Mrs. Lanczaik - C atho lic School Principal. Many clowns were also featured in the parade. Due to the inclement weather, the crowning of the queen was postponed until the dance in the High School gym that evening, Llur Devils gave us a great victory that day top- ping the Antelopes by the score of 39-O. That even- ing at the annual home- coming dance, which was held from 9 p.m. till ll p.m., Marsha Kay Pavan homecominl l U nt.. vs. ns- - College and graduated in for the entire student body fry, masonry and data August of this year. When one group is at Union, the other is at Vo- Tech. There are over 500 stu- dents attending Vo-Tech from il different schools dance 8530 p.m. till lUg3O p.m., and the price will be 52.50 per couple. The Harvest theme will be carried out, and semi-formal dress is required. The dance is open to the Seuio i - held from 2 Cathy
