Faculty FRONT ROW: Left to Rightg Mrs. Robbins, Mr. Marriner, Mrs. Packard. BACK ROW: Left to Rightg Mr. Jack. Mr. Vail, Mr. Rochon. Words From The Principal For once, I feel it very difficult to express my thoughts in words. Numerically, you are not the largest graduating class, nor perhaps academically the highest, in the history of Union High School. I do feel, however, that although small in num- ber, you have been a good, steady, hardworking class. I feel that you have, as a class, contributed greatly to the building of school spirit this year through your interest in all class and school activities. For having at heart not only the best interests of your own class, but those of the school as a whole, I am truly grateful to you. You have been a nice group of boys and girls to work with. I shall miss your friendliness and co-operation, and you as individuals, very much in the years to come. The shackles Cin the form of the rules and regulations of the high school, to which you have been bound nearly four long years will soon be struck off. It will be up to you to chart your own individual courses and to set up your own individual rules and regulations for living. The idea of composing your own code of living may frighten some of you needlessly, In my mind, one rule or regulation--the Golden Rule--is sufficient for a full, satisfying life, if one lives up to it. The idea of doing to others as we would have them do to us is worthy of considerable thought. May I at this time extend to you my best wishes for good health, happiness, and success in your post graduate lives. Norman E. Marriner 4
