Mr. Rice's Classes During Mr. Rice's year of teaching at WCUHS, he taught Wood I. Advanced Wood. Construction and Drafting. Mr. Rice was able to teach his students many things about working with wood, drafting and construction. Even after the long hours he spent in the shop working with his students, he was able to take on the many responsibilities of being the Senior class advisor. 1 Mr Rice and George Beebe working during Wood I. 2. Mrs. McKnight’s Classes Mrs. McKnight taught Journalism, College English, English III, and English I during the 1986-87 school year. In addition to her classes and being the annual advisor, she organized and chaperoned the Seniors on a curriculum enrichment trip to the Ashland Shakespearean Festival. 1 Donna Olsen and Dan Thomas consult Mrs Mcknight during Journalism. 2. Mrs. Season’s Classes This year Mrs. Season taught Computers, Home Ec., and Pottery. Mrs. Season was a very patient teacher who explained to and helped her students. The Home Ec. class made home decorations and learned the basics of sewing and cooking. Pottery class students created artistic pieces, flower pots, windchimes, and many other things. Students in Computers learned to operate the Apple lie computer and also acquired programming skills. The 1986-1987 school year was a large success thanks to Mrs. Season. 1. Mrs. Season, Home Ec.. Computers, and Pottery teacher. 2. Susan Routh keeping busy in Pottery 3.
