Mr. Howey’s Classes Mr. Howey taught health and physical education at Wasco County. He taught the students the health procedures and physical training techniques needed to lead healthy lives. The students here at WCUHS like to take Mr. Howey’s PE and Health classes and they like to laugh at his dumb jokes. 1. Mrs. Classes Mrs. Houk taught Accounting. Typing I. II. Speech and Creative Writing. The Typing I class challenged Mrs. Houk to pay their way to Kah-Nee-Ta if they could type 60 words a minute with 6 errors or less by the end of the year. Mrs. Houk’s requirement was 40 words per minute with 5 errors or less at this level. The students in Typing I were very excited about the challenge. 1. Mrs. Houk helping a student. 2. Mrs. McKnight’s Classes Mrs. McKnight taught Journalism, College English, English III, and English I during the 1986-87 school year. In addition to her classes and being the annual advisor, she organized and chaperoned the Seniors on a curriculum enrichment trip to the Ashland Shakespearean Festival. 1 Donna Olsen and Dan Thomas consult Mrs Mcknight during Journalism. 2.
