Has clerked, with exception of four years, for local business firms. Now in employ df L. S. Hill. Verne Smelser fMrs. Claude E. Linel Jasper, Ind. Attended summer school at Miami one year and took six month business course at Hamilton. Was sales lady for Beaton's Dry Goods Ccg., Oxford 7 years. Later a stenographer and bookkeeper for Ox- ford firms. They now have a men's clothing store in Jasper. Cleatice Smith, deceased. Took course at Richmond Business College. Bookkeeper for Huward Wholesale Grocery Co. Married and had twin daughters. June died in in- fancy. Jean is mazried and lives in Richmond. Margie Smith fMr's. Paul Griffithl, College Corner, O. Clerked in local postoffice four years, bookkeeper for local business firms twelve years. Graduated from Reid- Memorial Hospital, Richmtmd '28. Husband is a plasterer. They have a son, Richard. Oqpal Smith fMrs. Leland Procto.'J,Everett, Wash.R. R. Made music her major pro- ject. Studied at Oxford College for Women, Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and at Philadelphia. Mr. Procter is a chemical engineer. They live on a ranch near Everett. Has two daughters. Directs a choir at First Pgesbyterian church in Everett. Martha Wilson lMrs. Roya Grayb, St. Louis, Mo. Graduated from Monmouth College '12, Taught school for several years in Illintis and Nevada. Mr. Gray is employed by a wholesale cotton merchant. They have two children, Mary Arnet and John Wilson. CLASS OF 1909 Our motto Quality not Quantity was very appropriate as there were only three in our class. I Eunice Earhart CMrs. Floyd R. Hamiltonl, Oxford, O. Lived on a farm for nine years after her marriage in 1918. Since 1927 Mr. Hamilton has been a partner of the Buckeye Feed Co., Oxford. He also owns the Miami Milling Co. and Shinkle Coal Yards. 'Eunice has been btth a faithful homemaker and a great help to her :husband in his business. They have a daughter, Lelah Margaret. Leah Smelser CMrs. Glenn Hunsingerl, Oxford, O. After graduation entered teachers college, Mami U., but gave it up to become assistant dental nurse to Dr. John Moly- neaux for fdur years. Later re-entered Miami and finished her two-year' course in 1916. Taught second grade in Oxford Public school for three years and at Mt. Auburn schuol, Cincinnati one yeaz. Mr. Hunsinger returned from France at that time and they were married. They have two sons, Richard Glen, 13 yr., and Geor'ge Marvin, 12 yr., Worked afternoons at Oxford National Bank several years. Since 1927 has worked there full-time, She is sup't. of Oxford M. E. Chur'ch School. John Wright, Wfabash, Ind. Attended Muskingum College. Married Dorothy Ccfulter of Oxford. They have three children Elmer Maclode, Mary Katherine, and John Coulter. John is employed by the State Highway Department. -Mrs. Glenn Hunsinger CLASS OF 1910 The class graduated, wondering if their lives would be snuffed out before the exer- cises would be cfver. Haleyfs Comet was dashing across the sky and was supposed to collide with the earth in its journey. Each graduate was expected to write or deliver an essay. The class had a discussion as to the advisability of preparing the essays if the world was going to come to an end. But the superintendent ruled that the prepar- ation of essays go ahead as usual. Clara Bowman, now Mrs. L. M. Bagby, living at 2114 12th ave., Huntington, W. 'Va., was employed as a postoffice clerk for several years after' graduation. Soon after her marriage to Mr. Bagby they established a home in Huntington where he has an auto- mobile sales agency. They have one son and one daughter. Charles Buck after spending several years in Florida mcfved back to the old home place east of College Corner on R. R. 1. He married Miss Ina Ramsey of Cedarville, Ohio, and they have six children, three boys and three girls. The oldest son graduted in the class of 1935. -Etta Pinkerton
