MBT. Mar. our boys SCHOOL CALENDAR iCOntinued5 12 - Freshmen have party. 13 and 14 - Union County Grade School Tourney and we are proud to say are the champions Mar. 18 - Eighth grade party. Mar. 28 - Senior scholarship contest at Camden with Brown and Kingery repre- senting Union. Apr. 3 - Senior class play, There Goes Henry, which goes off in a. big way. Apr. 4 - Latin contest at Greensburg with Patton and Skinner entering from Union. Apr. 7 - Seniors try to look their prettiest as they journey to Hamilton to have their pictures taken. Apr. 8 - Another six weeks gone and test time is here again. Apr. 13 - Union basketball team defeated at Dixon and D'icken comes back a cripple ! Apr. 13 - Lions Club entertains the basketball squad and fans at a banquet. Apr. 16 - Union plays McGuffey here and wins. Apr. 17 - Junior Class are all smiles this Lnorning as this is their skip day. They visit places of interest in Cincinnati. Apr. 24 - Gold and Crimson Revue with a large crowd attending and enjoying the program. Apr. 27 - Preble County Schoolmasters are entertained at Old Union. May 1 - Baseball game with Camden here and we win by a close scor'e. May May May May May May May May May May May 2 - Track meet at McGuffey, who won by a score of 56 to 44. Baseball game at Kitchel. 7 - Baseball game at McGufEey. 5-. 8 - Junior-Senior reception at Union. 12 - Union vs. Liberty, here. 13 - Last day of school for Seniors. 15 - Class Night when the Seniors tell you what they have or haven't done. 16 - Alumni Banquet. 19 - Commencement. 20 - Hooray! School is out again. 25 - Seniors and some of faculty members leave for Washington, D. C. EXAMINATION TIME Exams are just around the corner waiting for the student poor Who never studied till too late to make a passing score. Many will burn the midnight oil to study hard once more The things they should have studied a lcng, long time before. They're just like Christmas shoppers who wait till all is sold To do their Christmas shopping and are left out in the cold. But, boys and girls, the Way to do is study well each day, Then when your teacher says, Exams, you Won't get scared and say, I doubt if I get by this time, I shofuld have studied more. Instead just say, Come on exams, I've tackled you before. CLASS OF '36.
