CLASS OF 1934 Our motto: We will ring the bells of the future with the ropes of the past. Our fiower: American Beauty rose. Our colors: red and white. There were fifteen members graduated in '34. For the mcst part, I believe, our class is advancing a great deal in the business and educational line. There are six that are in college, two nurses, and the rest are doing miscellaneous things. James Ardery attended Miami-Jacobs College at Dayton, Ohio. He is now em- ployed at the Gem City Building and Loan Association in Dayton. We think he will be a banker some day. Harold Bzattain has been attending Purdue University since graduation. We sup- pose he is learning all about forestry and the farm problems. Norman Crist is in the U. S. Marines out in California. Myron Goodwin, after graduating, thought he wanted to see a few things, so he went out west and explored California, Oregon, Wy-tming, and a few more places. He is at his home in College Corner at the present time. Eunice Hammitt is advancing rapidly in nurse's training at Christ Hospital in Cin- cinnati, Ohc. Sylvia Hensley is employed at the present in the 1. G. A. store in College Corner. Howar'd Fat Huber is very much engaged in helping his father on the farm near Billingsville. Dorothy Patton is working part-time at the College Corner telephone exchange. We imagine Dorothy hears abut everything that is going on. Ella Stewart is living in the home of Clarence Sanford. Rosemary Toney is in her sophomore year at Western College, Oxford, Ohio. We bet that Rosemary is making swell grades. William Toney is in his stphomore Year at Miami University, Oxford. We wonder what Bill is studying. Reba VanNess is also in nurse's training in a hospital in South Bend, Ind. Cheryl Williams is another Western College student. She too is in her sophomore year. Byron Wolfe is at home in Shandon, Ohio. Malcolm Wcodruff. Woody just started in the educational line this Winter. He is a freshman in Miami University, Oxford. Well, we hope he makes good, as we hear that he is going to be a M. D. - Written by Gladys McNair. CLASS OF 1935 The Class of '35 ended its senior year with a trip to Washington, D. C. The party, which left College Corner, May 20, included the thirteen members of the class, Mr. and Mrs. Dils, Mr. and Mrs. Petry, Mr. Wright, Miss Rueff, and Mr. Jack Gray. The class held a reunion at Lake LeSourdesville, August 16, with three faculty members and their wives present. Annabelle Dudley, Jack Fischer, and Kenneth Davis were unable to at- tend. At the time cf writing none of the class has ventured into the seas of matrimony and the class motto: We are not finished, just beginning, seems to apply to all. Carmen Ardery, Liberty, Ind., R. At the present time she is working in a restaurant in Dayto Lindol Cann is living on a farm south of College Corner. We suppose Lindol going to be a bachelor, as we hear that he and his sweetheart of student days are n friendly terms any more. Emma Paxton attended Westminster College in Pennsylvania for one year, and a present is taking a business course in Dayton. ,Q Dorothy Paddock is married to Melvin Baker, and they are the parents of a. so l -1 nd they live in Cincinnati. f Donald Sizelove is at home, helping his father, who is engaged in farming. Vivian Stevens is now married to Lawrence Francis, and they are the parents of girl, Edith. They are living in Texas. Vivian hopes to return home this spring. Helen Sizelove was in nu:se's training at Mercy Hospital at Hamilton, but is -Q91 at Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati. Her training at Cincinnati must agree with her, fof' e is putting on the pounds. The only sad note in our class history thus far, has been the death of Gordon Jer .Tl man, our class comedian.
