fClass of 1925, continued? Edna Weidenbach fMrs. Earl McClearyJ, Indian Reservation, Kyle, S. D. Husband is a teacher in the Indian school. She is hired as cook to prepare het lunches for the pupils at noon. Both are employed by the government. She and one helper do all the baking including bread, pies, and cakes, for there are no bakeries. The government ships all the materials in large amounts to them. There are about 150 Indian children in school. They are very eager to learn. They are brought to school by bus. The Indian bus drivers stay at school all day and take the children home in the afternoon. They help in the kitchen peeling potatoes and at other work. Very few white people are there. Besides the school building there is a general store, Catholic church, and a doctor's omce. - Mrs. Herbert Hill. CLASS OF 1926 Our class holds a place of distinction among the classes of Old Union. Weigriad- uated just a decade ago, and weze the last class to graduate from the old building. In 1926 it seemed a great injustice to us to have to graduate from the old .building when we had been promised the new one. We also revived two old customs which had fallen by the wayside - one of which might have been better buried than revived. We had a nag rush and we renewed the .custom of junitr and senior plays. Our class play, All On Account of Polly was the first play presented on its fine large stage. He married Lucille Ross. Ellis is a painter and interior decozatar. He is president of alumni fthis year and will be looking for all of you at alumni. Donald Miller, U. S. S. Idaho, San Pedro, California. He married Louise Gentile of Seattle, Washington. He has studied aviation and naval coiuses in San Diego, California., Hampton, Va. and New York. Seven years have passed since that memorable class night of '29 when ten girls, in gay checked ginghams of pink and blue, and seven overalled boys trouped onto the stage to bid farewell to old Union. First things for which we are remembered are: costumes for Class Night: Second, the leaving of our banner, all in one pie.ce, for display on class Flag Day. Many changes have taken places in ages, locations, business and families. Phophecies concerning this class were varied and for the mot part were not quite true to history. Jean E. Armstrong, 136 W. Fairview Ave., Dayton, Ohio. Jean was graduated from Miami-Jacobs Business College. She is now doing secretarial Work in the omces of the Prudential Life Insurance Co. Macel R. Bake, now Mrs. Robert Zugg, 400 E. Siebenthaler Ave., Dayton, Ohio. Af- ter Macel finished her course at Miami-Jacobs, she was secretary for an interior decor- ator. Mr. Zugg is employed at the Dayton Camera Shop and they are the parents of a daughter, Judith Ann. Mary B. Brady, College Corner, Ohio, R. R. 1. Mary attended Miami University for three yeazs. She is now employed part time at Max's Style Shop, Liberty, Ind. Anna M. Brown, College Corner, Ohio, R. R. 2. Anna has been at home since grad- uation. Maxine Daugherty, Cottage Grove, Ind. Maxine was graduated from Teachers' College, Miami University, and has been teaching in the primary grades of our school.
