fClass of 1925, continued? Edna Weidenbach fMrs. Earl McClearyJ, Indian Reservation, Kyle, S. D. Husband is a teacher in the Indian school. She is hired as cook to prepare het lunches for the pupils at noon. Both are employed by the government. She and one helper do all the baking including bread, pies, and cakes, for there are no bakeries. The government ships all the materials in large amounts to them. There are about 150 Indian children in school. They are very eager to learn. They are brought to school by bus. The Indian bus drivers stay at school all day and take the children home in the afternoon. They help in the kitchen peeling potatoes and at other work. Very few white people are there. Besides the school building there is a general store, Catholic church, and a doctor's omce. - Mrs. Herbert Hill. CLASS OF 1926 Our class holds a place of distinction among the classes of Old Union. Weigriad- uated just a decade ago, and weze the last class to graduate from the old building. In 1926 it seemed a great injustice to us to have to graduate from the old .building when we had been promised the new one. We also revived two old customs which had fallen by the wayside - one of which might have been better buried than revived. We had a nag rush and we renewed the .custom of junitr and senior plays.
