IJEIJICATIUN O KNOW MR. SUTER is to like him. ,His smile, his manner, his ability, his loyalty, and his willingness to give freely of his time and energy, all unite to make him not only an outstanding class sponsor but also a capable member of the high school Faculty. Rarely, do a class and a sponsor get along in perfect harmony in their mutual tasks, Throughout the three years Mr. Suter has served as their adviser, the Seniors have been aware of the calibre of man chosen to guide them during their high school days. Because of this, the Seniors have been mindful of his efforts. They have given him cooperation: and, above all else, they have appreciated the many things he has done for the Class of 1945. To him, this book is respectfully dedicated. On these pages is recorded, for all to read, a sincere and truly meant Thank You to the one whose very pres- ence has enriched the life of Union High School and Whose very friendship Will, in the future, do much to make life more complete. May your future hold the best of everything that is good, Mr. Suter, and may you remember us just as We, individually and collectively, shall remember, respect, and revere you. To Eldron Suter, one of Union's prominent teachers, this book is dedicated.

Throughout the eleven years that she served as school secretary, hundreds of students have come under her wholesome influence. Knowing her, one finds it hard to think of anyone comparable. Because oi ill health, Mrs. Mac is no longer school secretary. She is now working as part-time secretary to Mr. Riedel. As long as Union High School exists, Mrs. McElroy will be remembered as a part of the school.
