They have tried unsuccessfully to reach their goal, but lack of money has not dampened their enthusiasm. They are dete- mined to go to Mexico and are doing whatever is nec- essary to achieve that goal, such as serving dinner be- fore every home varsity basketball game. All work and no play would make Spanish Club a dull organi- zation so they had their annual initiation in October at a combined hayride and wiener roast. The Spanish classes enjoy writing skits and per- forming for the other classes. They are increasing comprehension and speaking through use of the lan- guage lab. v , A Spanish problems are easily overcome with Mrs. Oliver's help.
