ART-Something For Everyone To Enjoy The art classes are designed to expand the students knowledge of the studio art areas, which include drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, tex- tiles, and graphics. It is hoped that a greater interest for art will be de- veloped. Art is not strictly for the people with so- called natural talent. It is for everyone to enjoy and utilize. The projects taken up by students will include various drawing and painting projects. The graphics projects will include silk screening and block print- ing. Textiles classes will make rugs, wall hangings and baskets. Sculpture classes will work with plaster and clay. Those studying ceramics will not only con- struct pottery by hand, but learn how to use the pot- ters wheel as well. Miss Konieczny provides a casual atmosphere. 56-Academic tr' I t Working with plaster, Donna Baumgnrtner constructs leg casts. ft' Above: Cheri Gruwell finishes her ceramic question mark and places it among the others. Below: Glazing a piece of pottery. Owen Ogden asks for David Golliher and Miss Konieczny opinion.
