The talents of Terri Geis show up as she slits the throat of her fetal pig. Science Rick Carey has the worried look of Mr. Stephens guinea pig. This year our Science Department offers Biology, Advanced Biology, Chemistry and Physics. The Biology classes, taught by Kellie Stephen, spent a great deal of time on cell biology. The stu- dent's classroom work was complemented by audio- visual aids and lab work. The advanced Biology class conducted many inter- esting dissections, one of which was three weeks spent on fetal pigs. They also studied the Animal Kingdom, genetics and reproduction. The Door To Learning 57 l Dea Engle, though lab assistant for the past two years, does not al- ways get the best results from his experiments. The Physics and Chemistry classes were taught by Robert Sheffer. In Chemistry, the students learned the basics about the elements and the laws that apply to them. The Physics class worked several problems and performed many experiments to clarify their work.
