Track Team Greatl Improves The Rocket track team finished the season with seven wins and seven loses in dual meets and sth place in the Mid-Eastern Conference. This successful season was a substantial improvement over recent years. The Rockets were led by three outstanding per- formers: seniors, Iohn Baldwin, who set a new school record in the discus of 118 feet 9 inches, and Mike Pe- den,vvho broke the conference records in the lovv and high hurdles and tied the school record in the high hurdles of 15 seconds, and sophomore Phillip Zimmerman who raised the school record in the high jump to 5 feet 1095 inches.
