FH Unites The School With The Community The Future I-Iomemakers of America strived hard to involve themselves with the community and sur- rounding areas as their goal this year was to make FHA a more recognized organization. The chapter took a shopping trip in November to the Muncie Mall so the girls could get an early start on their Christmas shopping. At Christmas time the girls went to the Winchester Nursing Home to decorate for the season to be enjoyed by the elderly people. During the year there were girls sent to the district and state meetings to learn new ways to improve the organization. The highlight of the year was when the installation of of- ficers was held at the Mother's Tea. The girls learned responsiblity and found a purpose for a better future. Happiness and togetherness is expressed as these senior girls sit around the fircat the initiation ceremony of the new members. FHA. Front Row: R. Darden, G. Bush, T. Douglas, P. Clevenger, D.
