The Union High School Cheerblock was the largest block Union has had in years. Sixty girls from junior high to seniors, supported their team 100 percent with more spirit than the gym could hold. Collecting pop bottles was a very successful money making project. The money was contributed to buying paint, paper, brushes, and other supplies to make spirit posters. The cheerblock formed at all the home games and traveled to two away games. At the final hallgame se- nior cheerblock members and their parents were honored, each receiving a blue and white flower in memory of their last Rocket Season.
