Steak dinners, dancing, a movie with 'The Young Amer- icans , bowling and a buffet breakfast all went together to create the friendly and relaxed feeling of the students' all night Junior-Senior Prom. King Jim Wisener and Queen Connie Rader reigned dur- ing the evening along with the Prince Brian Cates and Princess Jane Gordon. Lavishly dressed couples strolled from the soft lights and music of the Leland Motor Inn is ballroom to the mezzanine where two smiling sophomores Marsha Fouse and Jana Rodeffer served Hawaiian punch and cookies. Sparkling conversation and easy laughter could always be found around the punch bowl. Faculty as well as students enjoyed their evening of fun along with a little good natured teasing of Mr. Dalzell. After the night's festivities most of the students returned to the Leland for breakfast. The gray misty morning fail- ed to dampen anyone is spirit, but just added more ro- manticism to a night which will long be remembered.
