Allen and Tom do the assigned experiment in their chemistry lab on Wednesday evening. This lab is held so the students may have more time in which to complete their experiments without the restricting 55 min- utes in their regular class time. Typing I proves to be a popu lar class, even with the upper classmen. Commercial Typing sixty words a minute, taking dictation at twice that speed, suffering through balancing and double entry, and learning to operate a mimeograph machine or making a letterhead-these are only samples of the practical busi- ness knowledge taught by Mrs. Konwerski, Mrs. Jones and Mrs. Teal. Whether a student wishes to become a secretary or at- tend college. he discovers the world of business skills and the poise which comes from knowledge.
