Flo's genius for music and taste for art Are combined with ability of one who is smart She has various duties and many. The way she plays the piano is greatg Her singing is held in high estimate. As head of Our Club her work's of the best, She's always at work with unlimited zest Not inferior to any. Oh by the Way, we must not leave Scott Who goes on smiling regardless his lot. It is surely right to say His ability as a student is good, you can bet, For any hard lesson he ne'er fails to get As sub editor of the Hoosier he did his best. To his general knowledge there is no end, But seldom he has the grace to unbend Or give you any knowledge for love or hate. Act like you don't care, then though sedate, He'll tell you or break his neck. There's Dorothy who as our basketball center Possesses th' agility which Jobe has lent her, But that's not all by a long shot. She makes perfect recitations in history class, Not always resisting her temptation to sass Our good teacher, Bedwellg no one matches wits With him without being glad to say Quits, What it takes he's certainly got. Gladys is really a second Mozart She's always successful in affairs of the heart, We remark it's casually so That she lives at Cassg but what of that! But remember us kindly, as always true blue. We leave you with sorrow the end of this year You'll all succeed we need never fear. May your school life never appear to you cold But contribute all glory to the Black and Old Gold. Farewell to the faculty your hard duty reaching To success, on the ladder of wonderful teaching. We'll remember you all and what you have said And start out in life with a plan in our head. Miss Ingle, the teacher, who was so kind I'm sure a better we could never find. And Miss Adamson, who patiently taught us art, All of us love her for her tender heart. All who took history will never lose sight Of Mr. J. Bedwell, who taught how brave men should fight. Miss Harris, too, was a jolly good teacher, She had love in her heart for every creature. And Mr. McCammon so patient we all say Taught science and math. the very best way. We'll remember the teaching of Mr. M. Bedwell But of his intelligence we could never tell. Last but not least, as we always say, For Mr. Phillippe has been with us many a day To him may life's choice blessings fall. Again we bid a goodbye to you all. The Seniors say farewell and good luck To succeed you'll have to stick to it with pluck. Remember our class, the Purple, and White, And we promise remembrance both morning and night. E. E.
