His business ability we laud to the skies, That boy, too, can find grace in the fair one's eyes, Let him set himself to a task with his might And that task shall be honorably done and right, Or we miss our guess. Tee-hee, it's funny every soul will agree 'Tis Edna who's been first the good joke to see, We willingly admit That she is a forward of the day, Falling down she kicks the ball upon its way. Boys, take heed for she won't flirtg Don't get too familiar, you might get hurt, Her temper's not docile yet. It pays to act like you know a lot That air George Luxton sure has gotg He's wise as the elect. To his general knowledge there is no end, But seldom he has the grace to unbend Or give you any knowledge for love or hate. Act like you don't care, then though sedate, He'll tell you or break his neck. There's Dorothy who as our basketball center Possesses th' agility which Jobe has lent her, But that's not all by a long shot. She makes perfect recitations in history class, Not always resisting her temptation to sass Our good teacher, Bedwellg no one matches wits With him without being glad to say Quits, What it takes he's certainly got. Gladys is really a second Mozart She's always successful in affairs of the heart, We remark it's casually so That she lives at Cassg but what of that! Lincoln hailed from a cabin and I take off my hat To that great rnartyrg but to get down to truth, Gladys is charming and pretty in sooth, Ask Parker, her rational beau. llIIIIHHHIllllHilllllllllllllllllllllHillllllllllllllllllllllIllllllllllilllllillllllllllllVlllllHlllllllHHHllllHHUIHllllllllllllllllllllllllllllIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIlllllllllllllllllllllllllll1Illlllllllllllllllllllll

It is really truly strange That a man's mind and a man's might Should be your heritage, but still 'tis right. Her basketball playing we greatly admire, Before her ability we most all retire. To describe it, this lacks range. There's Ralph Miller whose fiddle and bow Form his constant and loving companions, I trow. His time is spent 'tis said, In cultivating the beauties of this life, Still he's forever engaged in civil strife, For it's a call to play here and call to play there, Let's see, Ralph, if you haven't a gray hair In your talented head. Sylvia's a maiden fair and rare, Who can find most charming ways to do her hair, But it's not all said yet. She plays a piano with ease by earg Her own compositions are delightful to hear. Y'ought to see her manual training woodwork. Like every girl she works like a Turk, In that class by sweat a grade to get. Emory, old scout, you're a wonderful boy, We quote from the girls whose one great joy Is for you to glance their way. But don't let this matronage go to your heart, You should come to school oftener, on your part, Don't dress too nicely or, we're afraid, You'11 be carried away by some little maid To be kept forever and a day. That's right, Thelma, keep up that pep And you'1l surely win a worthy rep. She's one who truthfully thinks, That the world is made to laugh and be bright in, One's oppression of mind she ne'er fails to lighten Her observations of man are very accurate, Many suffer or are delighted by her estimate, Together our virtues and vices she links. That bird's a cat on that old history too, And he obeys Miss Ingle when she says sing lu All in all he's idealg you just watch him speed in that Dort of hisg now, Covart, take heed Don't ever, ever sell it. Flo's genius for music and taste for art Are combined with ability of one who is smart She has various duties and many. The way she plays the piano is greatg Her singing is held in high estimate. As head of Our Club her work's of the best, She's always at work with unlimited zest Not inferior to any. Oh by the Way, we must not leave Scott Who goes on smiling regardless his lot. It is surely right to say His ability as a student is good, you can bet, For any hard lesson he ne'er fails to get As sub editor of the Hoosier he did his best. But as editor in chief-well, guess the rest He surely did save the day. P. S.
