C Varsity Football Because the Farmers fought their way right down through Linden's hay, this year's football season was a successful one. With such Seniors as Bursch, DeHart, Gulick, Nlurnane, Hodum, Horan, Reiss, and Hughes on the team how could it have been otherwise? The fellows showed us that something new had been added to ll famous football team for they came through at the Roselle, Regional, Linden, and Roselle Park struggles after losing four contests. Then too, there was the Bound Brook game-but we IIOIIII tall' about that! The boys used their all consuming NRG at their banquet to devour an enormous amount of food. lt was noticed that they exhibited their best tackling of the year that night and we can't blame them. There was no interference!

A . .. - -It sn S dxf The frosh and sophs were in the groove this year with a winning streak. l,et's hope they won't have blues in the night pushin' the varsity foot- ball aroundg and we do wish the best luck to next yearys football heroes. Our football team may leave something to be desired but not our popular coaches. Mr. Lake was succeeded as head coach by the popular Mr. Walters, and ilflr. Frances developed our second line of defense in the dusk patrol. Ah-at last! Perfect bliss for George when in such company, he managed to catch tht CZIIHCYZI. These P. T. A. ladies, semper lidelis, at- tracted more attention than the players did between halves.
