After a slow start taking defeat from Mac High and Baker, the term started developing a very deceptive type of play, and completed the season without another loss Union rose to its supreme height, ending the season by defeating the strong Pendleton teen 19 to 0«, Union's final standing in the luo I contain League was third place. The two early season defeats were responsible fer this standing, but many a fan and admirer considered Union the smoothest, cleverest team in the league.
