Due to his interest in the development of student leadership, the school has a high rating as an institution offering many extracurricular activities as well as book work. He is proud of his graduates who go out into the community as successful Workers and civic leaders. Principal Everest is ardent in the promotion of student self-government in study halls, 'in service staff Work, and the Student Council. He sympathetic- ally assists too in working out opportunities for dances, school movies, and talent shows.
