Seniors 1936 Senior Officers lohn Scholl, president, lrmaruth Krapp, sec- retary, Mr, Fred Voss, adviser, Miss Grace Thomasma, adviser, Elizabeth Allen, vice- presidentg loan Rode-nhouse, girl treasurer, Allan Stellingworth, boy treasurer, The business undertakings of the senior class are many and difficult. The yearly success of these projects is due largely to the perseverance, co- operation, and sound advice of the senior advisers, Miss Grace Thomasma and Mr. Fred Voss. Perhaps the most difficult of these tasks, that of composing a class song, is undertaken by the class song committee, a group of students talented in music. The ideas for the traditional class memorial to the alma mater are sug- gested by the memorial committee. The senior class makes a selection by popular vote, but the remaining duty of erecting and installing the memorial is left to the committee. The financing of this memorial is done by means of a senior play, or even two plays, chosen by the play committee. Through the cooperation of committees and the senior class, the class photographer, cards and announcements, and motto are chosen. The pre- liminary work is done by able groups of students and the final choices are determined by the vote of the class. Fellowship is encouraged in many extra-curricular activities and occa- sional senior get-togethers. The chaperons are invited to these get-togethers by the invitations committee, while checking, publicity, entertainment, decora- tions and orchestra are all taken care of by their respective committee members, The publication of the AURORA, school yearbook, is undertaken by a special staff chosen from the students with the highest scholarship records. lux, Solving Senior Problems Scholl, president, Bieschke, Wessman, Nagy Forsrnan, Berkowitz, Gray, Pavel, Beasecker, Oumedian, Dean, DeBruyn, Hubbell, Sage Wenger, l-loving, Klein, Ortowski.
