Class Song Well never fail you, Union High, But e'er well be true blue: And though your halls are left behind, Our hearts will cling to you. ln every deed we'll work for you, Your name we'll carry far, ln years to come, where'er we go, You'll be our guiding star. Oh, how we'll miss our happy days, The halls and stairs and classrooms dear: ln mem'ry every hour we'll keep And treasure every moment here. Chorus: Behind us far, we leave your halls But thoughts of you will guide each deed. For you we hope to win always, We aim in each task to succeed. Music by lack Sonneveldt Words by Iacqueline Wenger and Lura Powell F Class Will We, the exalted Senior Class of the institution known as Union High School, located in the city of Grand Rapids, County of Kent, in the State of Michigan, in the United States of America, on the Continent of North America, in the Northern Hemisphere, on the Planet Earth, of the Solar Sys- tem, in the Third Dimensional Uni- verse 475693B, in the Year of Our Lord, Nineteen Hundred and Thirty-six, be- ing of sound mind and body, do be- queath to our heirs the following arti- cles and requisites: Whereas: To the candidates for senior president, we leave the platform of co-educational session rooms which is sure to elect any candidate. Whereas: To the city in general and the school in particular, we leave the material for one championship football team, Whereas: To the juniors, the privi- lege of looking at their pictures and using the language they so desire. Whereas: To Union in the future, the goal of a city basketball crown won by our cagers this year. Whereas: To seniors-to-be, the relief they experience when they learn they do not have to take final exams. Whereas: To the new Reflector staff, solace in the knowledge that the pre- ceding staffs weren't so clever either. Inmate No. 7l9l5 CTerm expires lune Sl
