.. Q.,-22.4.5 H For the first time since the clubs were formed, the GAA and the Pep Club joined ro- gether this year. With Miss Zimmerman as their advisor, the GAA did much to keep school spirit high. The members organized pep meetings and during Homecoming made mums, painted windows, and entered a float in the Homecoming parade. In addition to creating school spirit and good sportsmanship, the girls developed a diversified sports program includ- ing bowling, basketball, badminton, archery, volleyball, and softball. The tries to create an atmosphere of good sportsmanship and fair play in all the activities and to develop the leadership ability of each girl. 7.7,-4.5 ' ' The Future Farmers of America, under Mr. Weigel's supervision, completed another busy year of interesting and educational activities. The many functions of the club help the members toward their goal of leadership, citizenship, and cooperation. We are proud of the fact that the State Champion Land Judging Team for 1959- 1960'is made up of boys from this chapter. These boys participated in the national contest held on April 29 and 30 at Oklahoma City. The other activities of the club include the annual parents banquet, the State FFA Convention at Green Lake, the summer picnic, the state crop and livestock judging contest, the annual trip through industries of Milwaukee, and a public speaking program.
