The band under the direction of Mr. Bestul is a very active organization. Band members rehearse during the X period on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and spend many hours at home preparing for concerts and other activities. The band enter- tained the members of the community and student body at a delightful Christmas concert and spring concert. Band members were active in the Solos and Ensembles Contest, and the band as a unit par- ticipated in concert, sight reading, and marching in the Spring Festival at Portage. The band added zest and enthusiasm at our football and basketball games and our pep meetings. The Band Council worked hard to promote Talent Night and a Spring Cabaret to help the band meet its expenses. gaze! 1444445 BAND COUNCIL BOTTOM ROW: M. Baggot, C. Guildner, J. Peterson, K. Cone.
