It is questions such as this that the Student Council settles at its regular meetings. The Stu- dent Council, which is under the direction of Mr. Fitzpatrick, is composed of 3 members from each class and they are concerned with student welfare, directing activities and making suggestions for the general school betterment. This year the Council approved dress regulations at school events open to the public. It also initiated a Christmas Charity Dance for the benefit of the underprivileged in the community. The Student Council is an excellent way for students to share in the government of the school and we hope that future Student Councils will continue the excellent work done by the Council this year. 48

The column contains school news, feature articles, club news, personality and sport stories pertaining to WD High School. The purpose of the club, which is under the direction of Mr. DeMerit, is to improve the standards of athletes, encourage better scholastic work, and aid in carrying on the athletic activities of the school.
