She went to New York to become a private secretary, but she met Count Pierre l'Froufrou. It was love at first sight! Thus ends my prophecy for the Class of 1960. I must be back to good old Araby. Goodnight, and good luck! SENIOR CLASS HISTORX On September 4, 1956, sixteen timid freshmen entered the halls of Scandinavia High School for the first time as stu- dents. Initiation was held a few weeks later and we became an official pert of the school, Our class officers for that year were Karen, president; Bud, vice-president; and Don, secretary-treasurer. Our class adviser was Mr, Noreika. Diane was elected a BvTeam cheerleads er. Ten of us went out for forensics. Don and Diane went on. We lost one classmate during the year, David Hansen. During the summer we lost two more classmates, Avon Miller and Arlyn Kolbe, A new member, Ken Zietlow, joined us. Our class officers were Bud, president; Tom 3., vieeupresident; Tom J. , secretary; and Sandra V., treasurer. Mr. Noreika was again chosen as class adviser. Eight of us went out for forensics. Don, Tom 3., Bud, Diane, and Sandra V, went onI Diane was elected an A-Team cheerleader. As juniors, we lost two more classmates, Ronald Swanson and Harold Andersen, Ten of us went out for forensics. Den, Sally, Ken, Tom J., Tom 8., Diane, Sandra W,, Bud, and Karen went on. Sally and Sandra went on to Stevens Point else. Bud was elected vice-president of the Student Body. Our class offi. eers were Diane, president; Ken, vicewpresident; Don, secretary; and Karen, treasurer. Mrs. Webstre was our class adviser , Diane was again elected cheerleader. Tom B, was in the One Act Flay. He also did very well in the tNational Merit Scholarship Test, Our senior year we lost another classmate, Karen Madsen. Our class officers were Tom B., president; Carol, vice-presi- dent; Diane, secretary; and Sandra W., treasurer. Mr. Lee was our class adviser. Nine of us went out for forensics. Tom B., Don, Ken, Tom J., Carol, and Sandra W. went on. Tom 3., Don. and Sandra went on to Stevens Point also. Bud, Tom 3., Tom J., and Sandra w. were in the One Act Play. Diane, Carol, and Sally were elected cheerleaders. Don was elected presieent of the Student Body, and Diane was elected secretary.treasurer. Carol was chosen by the senior class to receive the D.A.R. Award. The Junior.Senior Prom was held April 23. Don and Carol reigned as King and Queen. They were scrowned by Tom B, and Sandra W, Also on the Court were Ruth Ann and Bud, Sandra V. and Dave Melby, Diane and Ken, and Sally and Tom J. Graduation was held May 26. Having perfected a new systew of typing, Ruthie is now the owner of a chain of hue heee colleges etretchinr, across the land. Now the mists clear and we ire gezing upan mad chemist, Welter Nelson, lighting hie ciwzr with a roll of tiooo bills as he is sitting in his plus office high ehove the s+rhhr- of Chic go Walter etudied yeers to p rfect a new tretquiliZfr. Now the drug firm he has orienized is selling millions of gala lens of it a dey, making Welter quite rich Nert we see the heroic Sandra islbruck choppinq her way through the steaming jun les of Africa. She has become a nurse and is now fighting her way through the Jungle to bring the Sald fol o v ocine to the African natives. Good luck, Sandra! Whooooosh! Looking up into the sky we find Tbm Johnson at the controls of the latest trans-10htinental jet airliner. It is ruiored thete he is the highest raid pilot in history, and even the president of the United States refuses to fly any where unless Mr. Johnson is 9t the controls? i NOW we see m:themeticien Carol Nelson at the blackboard , with chalk in hand. In the audience are host of the'worldis ire t authorities on mathematics. Carol is receiving 9 stand- ing ovation as she has duet proved beyond doubt th t p1 does Egg epual 3.1U15? but 3.1U159! She wine a Nobel prize for her brilTiant discovery. Now bentiover his drawing board, we see world famous architect Ken Zeitlow gutting the finishing touches on his plan for a skyscraper three miles high. However, we see him glancing anxiously at his watch, and we know he can hardly wait to get home to his wife c-.hc1 their 12 kids. Next the mists clear and we see Sally Steinbech relaxing in her Hollywood home. She has married the toy Western star on TV, and now agenda most of her time tthrowing parties for her millionaire friends. One,utwo,nthree,efour, one,ntwo,wthree,-four. What is this? Why it is none other than Diane Trinrud leading her kindergarden class through some calisthenies. She has devoted her life to teaching kindergarden, even though she 13 married to the president of General Motors, and has three sets of twins of her own to look after. Now we see Tom Bestul in his laboratory in them oaeement of his home. He has Just perfected a hydrogen bomb so ?gfetit on .

Q3 SENIOR CLASS WILL be, the senior class of Scandinavia High School, being of sound mind, do hereby ordain this to be our last will and test- ament: inane wills all her old boyfriends to Carolyn, providing she is good to them, and all her good times at the Casino and Caroline to Jane. Tom g. wills all his empty beer cans to Richard and his abilu 1 ity to shoot pool to Elmer. 52:2 wills all her pep and her behavior in Mr. Hassel' s class to Elmer, and four flat tires and an empty gas tank to Beverly. 29g wills his ability to peel bark to all the squirrels in the forest, and all his brownie points to the four other senior. boys gallv wills her night life to Marian, knowing she will make good use of it. She also wills her ability to eat during school time to any other sneaky girl. Togng. wills his grades to any freshmen who wants them, and, his height to Donna. gaggra V. leaves her ability to be quiet and to keep out of ' trouble in English class to Richard, and her good humor to Carolyn. 53g wills the Green Ghost to anyone who can make it run, and all his snide remarks and dictionary outlines to Mr. Hassel. gage; wills her six place logarithm tables to Bob N., and her guitar pick and a G string to Marty. Ken wills his ability to find a good parking place to Carl K. and his empty sehooners to Corn Pete. gaggga W. wills her ability to flirt and get along with her fellowgeg to whomever needs it. Also She wills her place in dramatics and forensics to Taran. To Mr. Lee we leave the peace and quiet of the fifth hour- study hall, together with all our solutions to the world's pro- blems. To Mr. Noreika we will all the broken glassware and rubber stoppers that he can find in the chemistry lab. Also we leave him the memories of a lively freshman class that is still as lively as ever! . ' To Mrs. Webster we will all our sharps, flats, and various lost chords, as well as the memories of a school filled with the ringing voices of the mixed chorus. To Mr. Hassel we will all our paper wads, dictionary assign- ments, and one thousand word themes. To Mr. Hansen we leave the memories of a shoving, noisy milk line, and all our cleverly hidden pop bottles. aMe leave to all the students, the spirit of Scandy High, hope ing it will remain with them always.
