Next the mists clear and we see Sally Steinbech relaxing in her Hollywood home. Why it is none other than Diane Trinrud leading her kindergarden class through some calisthenies. She went to New York to become a private secretary, but she met Count Pierre l'Froufrou. It was love at first sight! Thus ends my prophecy for the Class of 1960. I must be back to good old Araby. Goodnight, and good luck! SENIOR CLASS HISTORX On September 4, 1956, sixteen timid freshmen entered the halls of Scandinavia High School for the first time as stu- dents. Initiation was held a few weeks later and we became an official pert of the school, Our class officers for that year were Karen, president; Bud, vice-president; and Don, secretary-treasurer. Our class adviser was Mr, Noreika. Diane was elected a BvTeam cheerleads er. Ten of us went out for forensics. Don and Diane went on. We lost one classmate during the year, David Hansen. During the summer we lost two more classmates, Avon Miller and Arlyn Kolbe, A new member, Ken Zietlow, joined us. Our class officers were Bud, president; Tom 3., vieeupresident; Tom J. , secretary; and Sandra V., treasurer. Mr. Noreika was again chosen as class adviser. Eight of us went out for forensics. Don, Tom 3., Bud, Diane, and Sandra V, went onI Diane was elected an A-Team cheerleader. As juniors, we lost two more classmates, Ronald Swanson and Harold Andersen, Ten of us went out for forensics. Den, Sally, Ken, Tom J., Tom 8., Diane, Sandra W,, Bud, and Karen went on. Sally and Sandra went on to Stevens Point else. Bud was elected vice-president of the Student Body. Our class offi. eers were Diane, president; Ken, vicewpresident; Don, secretary; and Karen, treasurer. Mrs. Webstre was our class adviser , Diane was again elected cheerleader. Tom B, was in the One Act Flay. He also did very well in the tNational Merit Scholarship Test, Our senior year we lost another classmate, Karen Madsen. Our class officers were Tom B., president; Carol, vice-presi- dent; Diane, secretary; and Sandra W., treasurer. Mr. Lee was our class adviser. Nine of us went out for forensics. Tom B., Don, Ken, Tom J., Carol, and Sandra W. went on. Tom 3., Don. and Sandra went on to Stevens Point also. Bud, Tom 3., Tom J., and Sandra w. were in the One Act Play. Diane, Carol, and Sally were elected cheerleaders. Don was elected presieent of the Student Body, and Diane was elected secretary.treasurer. Carol was chosen by the senior class to receive the D.A.R. Award. The Junior.Senior Prom was held April 23. Don and Carol reigned as King and Queen. They were scrowned by Tom B, and Sandra W, Also on the Court were Ruth Ann and Bud, Sandra V. and Dave Melby, Diane and Ken, and Sally and Tom J. Graduation was held May 26. Tom B, was vsledicterianr and Carol wes sslutatorien. The guest speaker swas Mr. Norman Knutzen. , ,
