US SENIOR CLASS PROPHECY A flew hall of fame has been constructed in New York Gity' honoring; peeple who have done outstanding work in epecific fields. The first portrait is of Miss Judith Gurholt. She has done speew tecular work in reeearoh on cnaceh 3119 15 known the world ever end is ranked with the society of Florence Nightingalag Next we see a picture of Hans Hansen beside those of Lou Gehrig end Babe Ruth, He holds the record of home runs in a single eeeeons In one season he hit 76 home runs and pitched 18 newhittere. He is an allvtime favorite of the National League, Louann Simoneon has been very prominent in classical singing. She was soloist for twentwaive years on the television program, Firestone Hour. She won the Nobel Prize in the field of music three times in succession. Mervin Hansen quickly rose from a truck driver to cowowner of the New Jersey Standard Oil Company, He has married and has six .Charming daughters who are at their peak of popularity in Hollywood. He also has three husky sons who are wrestlers. , Miss Karen Beetul rose from a small town girl to Princess of Monaco. Mr. Nottleson has owned more land then any other except Thomas Fairfax. , Just after graduation from high school, Lavonne Twetan went to New York City to find work as e stenographer. Her superior work in keeping records and meeting people was quickly noticed on Capitol Hilly She became the Preeideht'e private secretary. Many people have tried to convince her to run for the Presidency. Albert Grenlie is worldmknown for his invention of the-perpetual. motion machine. He has studied at numerous universities in such fields as the animal kindgom of Proganosauria and their disease, necrobecilbg 0316, and mos? interesting of all, Ooaporangia entice. Mr. Grenlie has won the Nobel Prize in aoience foru times. Both groups received A ratings. On May 5, the chorus and glee club went to Wittenberg to take part 1E the district contest. The girls received an A rating and the mixed chorus received an Ae. The mixed chorus was asked to sing on the evening program. Of the thirtywona pupils taking part, sixteen ware choaen to represent our school in the conference tournament at Tigerton. Eight of the mentioned sixteen went on to the district contest at VStevena Point. Of thaaa eight, three were chosen as the' outstanding one in his particular division. These three were Louann Simonaon, Harlan VanMatre, and David Nottleaon. The others receiving A's were Karen Beatul, Bill Nelson. Judy Gurholt, Ronald Snyder, Linda Gjertson. At Stevens Point on March 24, four of the eight conference winw nere received A ratingetHarlan VanMatre, Louann Simonaon, Karen Bestul, and Judy Gurholt. The other four received B ratings. The grand finale 6n April 14, were hpld at Madison. On that day Harlan VanMatre received an'A rating; the others received B a. Everyone was very pleased about the accomplishments of our forensics departmen$. We owe our THkNK YOU to our fine coach, Pastor Laraon.
