JUWQPR CLAQS HISTORY On ?eptember 2, 1952, sixteen excited free men entered the ioors of Scandy High for the first time. They elected as class officers the following: president- Hans Hansen, vice president- Dave Nottleson, secretary treasurerw Karen Bestul, and class advisor- Mr. Iee. Many of the boys took part in seorts, forene sics and singing, while the girls were active in singing and forensics. Louann was eledted a B team cheerleader. The following year, fourteen studious scphomores again en- tered Scandy High prepared for a year of study and fun. They e- 1ected as class officers: president- Duane Nygaard, vice prese ident- Judy Gurholt, secretary treasurer- Diane Erickson, and class advisor- Mr. Mestenberger. Many of the sephomore were ae gain active in sports,forensics and singing. Most of the girls were elected cheerleaders and Louann and Karen were in drama- ties. The Juniers were back again this year to start out another year of study. ;heygeletted the folloving class officers: pres- ident- Hens Hansen, vice president- Albert Grenlie, secretary- treasurere Louann Simonson, and class advisor- Mr. Holm. The Juniors were again active in forensics, Sports, sing- ing and dramatics. Louann , Hans and DaVe were in z-edramatics. Many of the girls took yart in cheerleading. Many of the jun- iors have been active 0n the CamLus Echo and Viking staffs for the p;st three years.
