We were well represented in the forensic contest held in the strin5. a aoei percentaae of the class took part in forensics. They were Marjorie Gjertson, Donna Shyder, Pat Hansen, Rollo Taylor, and Marie Thomander. Pat, Rollo, and Marie went on to the district contest which was held in Tiaerton on March 16th. Pat received an A ratina there and went on to Stevens Point on April lst. Our class adviser was Miss Peterson. After three more months of vacation again, we came back to S.E.S. as juniors. Our class offieers that 'ayeare'were: Anna Olson- president, Donna Snyder avieeepresident, Joan Gudmandsen wseoretary-treasurer. Our class advisor was Miss Peterson. On April 20th we hell our Jr. and Sr. Prom, music was furnished by the Squires . In the spring we also ene tertained the seniors for the annual Juniorusenior picnic. The folloWine went out for'forehsicsf Pat Hansen, Mar; Jorie Gjertson, Marie Thomanaer, and Anna Olson. We all went to Birnamwood. Marjorie, and Anna went one to Stelens Point. We lost three stuients in our Junior year. Rollo Taylor was transferred to Iola, Pat Hansen gghduated in three years aha Donna Snjder quit at the eni of the second semester, which left our class at an even six. In our fourth ah: last year our class officers were Preeiient- Anna Olson, Vieeupresident- Ruben Thorn, and seen treasurere Joan Guinandsen. Mr. Lee was our class advisort This year,marie Thomander was the only one from our class that Went our for forensics; she went on to Bowler. Mar'e, also, was in the dramaticn play The Bond BetweenJ The senior class was active in mixed chorus, and-tHa airlsi alee club. The boys were active in baseball and baSe ketball. Three of the senior girls sana in the triple trio. We adaed another member, Keith Caldwell, who will gradw uate with us. ' He put on a Junior and senior prom, April 25, this sprine. David Nelson and Anna Olson reinhed as Kine 'and Queen. . Keith Caldwell gigduated as Valdietorian aha Marie The7 mander as Salutatorian of the senior class.
