BOTTOM RIGHT: Ingrid Wahila glides through another day of practice. The GirI's Varsity Swim Team had an outstanding season this year. The team tied with Vestal for second place in STAC with a record of 10 wins and 3 losses. The girls worked as individuals in their specific events but also put it all together for the team. Annette Buiocchi, The Most Valuable Player and most improved swimmer, had an amaz- ing record of 25 first places and one second place in her specialty, the breaststroke. It was a process of rebuilding and relocating as ninth graders iasm and determination that shaped the members of this squad. Tim Briggs, the captain, is typical of this new spirit found in soccer. Next year our tenth grade vete- rans move up to varsity, but will leave behind a nucleus from which next year's season will grow.
