Where, oh where, are the verdant Freshmen? THE FRESHMAN CLASS By this time we, the Freshman class, have adjusted our- selves to high school. The halls that once looked so forbidding and gloomy now echo the happy voices of our new-found friends. We have found teachers to be always understanding and willing to help us over the rough spots. There are countless new activities in which we engage. Many of us belong to band and orchestra; some of our boys have gone out for football and basketball, and the glee club claims several of our group. Assemblies are new and different. As we peer at them from our high pedestal in the balcony, we think and long for the day when we are seniors and can hear them too. We have become loyal defenders of our school and know that we shall always remember the happy days we have spent as Freshmen at U-E.
