DR. H. B. SMITH, Dean Anniversaries are happy occasions. They are conclusive evidence of ability to meet and conquer problems, and to prevail against circumstances over a period of time. The thrill of attainment covers over the scars from past struggles, soothes the weary laborers, and joy reigns supreme. Each commencement season is a great anniversary at Union College. For the students enrolled, and those who graduate, it marks the successful passing of another important milestone. Those who have been a part of this Seventy- Fifth Year have had a special opportunity to gain a better understanding of the way progress is attained. This knowledge will serve you well.
