M. V. RALLY OF INSPIRA TION The lVl.V. Rally held September 19 and 20 had as guests the Voice of Prophecy team-H.lVl.S. Richards Sr. and the Kings Heralds. Elder Richards spoke Fri- day evening and again for the Sabbath morning ser- vice. The Second Touch'l and how it must relate to our lives was the theme for the weekend. Other activities included the salute to servicemen, featuring fifty student flagmen. Union's student mis- sionaries, Linda and Helmer, presented an inspiring report of their experiences during the past year. Also several students reported of their trip to the Youth Con- gress at Zurich. The Kings Heralds presented an after- noon concert at the Pinewood Bowl, concluding the rally. And he looked up, and said, 'I see men as trees, walking! After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly. Mark 8:24,25

CTT C6 ANNUAL HANDSHAKE: A CLASP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION On the evening of September 20, students and faculty lined the auditorium to get acquainted with one another. All it took was a warm handshake and a few words of greeting from the old to the new to get things off to a good start. On the floor were marked areas representing signifi- cant dates and important people and places on campus. Dr. Davenport rewarded several persons who happened to be in the right marked area at the right time, even though it meant standing on the wall for some. The remainder of the evening was filled with friendly talk, refreshments and a short program provided by the As- sociated Student Body. wwf'
