WORSHIP CONVEYS REST It is after a long, full day of campus activities that one feels the need for a moment of real quiet and rest. Worships are conducted to fill this need. REGISTRATION COMMENCES NEW YEAF? Registration is remembered in the minds of most students as a time of long lines, decisions concerning classes, spending large sums of money, hours of test- ing, and becoming a number for an IBM computer. It meant a race for classes before they closed, register- ing or temporarily losing your car, and above all sign- ing away your freedom for another school term of work, books and study.

CONVOCATION UNITES STUDENTS Convocation, conducted each Friday morning, was the secular voice of the administration and Associated Student Body, the first meeting being a welcome to all new, as well as old students, from the faculty. For the students, convocation was the official lis- tening time, to current happenings, campaigns, pro- motions, projects, and instructions. Monday morning chapel served a complimentary purpose, giving the school family opportunities to wor- ship together every week. Speakers included both fac- ulty members and guest speakers from other parts of the country. Before chapel began, spontaneous choruses were often sung as the students took their places. Many appreciated these hours of peaceful meditation which punctuated their busy days.
