Cnly 4 buys rut of 12 are graduating this year. Harold Warkocezski, guard, nBustern Campbell, forward and Co-Captain, nSpeed' Cooper, forward, and Fred Tappan, guard, will be nissing next year. The Jr returning will be Darwin Musselman, Ted Stemaly, Ray Cameron, John Standiford, and Robert Worden. Darwin musselman saw a lot of action this year and a lot is expected from him. The Sophmore group is sending a promising trio of boys who played a good deal this year. They are Ken Parks, Lenoard and Edsar Cross, who led the scoring with 125 points for 'lZl'1iS Se8Son and the Freshman h 1 1 f toward the team. This years line-up was a hold-over from last year. The ends were Ray Swank and Lyle Parks. The tackles Fred Tappen, Bud Bush, Don Swensen, and Ray Cameron. At the guards positions were Buster Campbell, E1Ray Jones, Harold Jones, and George Hoover. The center was played by Jerry Daniels. The backfields position were split up between Harold Yerkoczeski, Darwin Musselman, Harry Whitcomb, Speed Cooper, Jim Rench, and Nolan Hooker. The team won two games, tied one and lost five games. They began practice the second week in October under the super- vision of Mrs. Clara Bell Nelson, and Mrs. Gerald Davison. The first game of the season was with Athens and brought them their first victory. The schedule was as follows: U .C . Opponents Athens 17 13 Litchfield 21 7 Bronson 10 20 Bronson 13 24 Litchfield 13 17 Athens 14 21 Jonesville 6 14 On the night of their last game they all attended a party given for the Boy's and Girl's team at Mr. 5 Mrs. Finleys. On April 10, the girls attended the Athletic Banquit, re- ceived their awards and enjoyed the program. Although they have not engoyed too many victories this year they feel that they have gained much in experience and teamwork. The girls loci forward to the next seascn and hope that it will bring them even more success and enjoyment then the last.
