Pu' fm numoon Ama GREY 'nivl' ay The Junior Class presented their play, Cash and Carrie, on April 2 1947. The audience saw two hours of fun-filled foolishness woven around the basic plot. The story was about a widowed mother who tried to keep her family happy and make ends meet. Although lovable and with a heart of gold, she was somewhat vague and forgetful and depended upon her daughters and neighbors to maintain the household. She was dependent upon her pompous Uncle Omar for a new house that nobody wanted but, ran into difficulties when he became enthusiastic over turning the house into a service station for helicopters Throughout the play, a little mischeif maker, Alberta Ferguson and varicus queer roomers provided many laughs. It all ended well though, and the audience went home with a grin on their faces and in their minds eye a picture of Carrie hiding her option in a very safe place.
