This year has been a money making year for us. Nearly all our class functions were centered around somethings to make money. We started out by sponsoring the annual NSnowbal1e.n This proved to be successful both financially and socially. In the middle of the winter we had an apportunity to sell over 600 pins. This project increased our treasury by a considerable sum. Our biggest event was the Donkey Basketball game. The F.F.A boys helped with this and the profits were divided. Perhaps we should have divided with Mr. Wheeler, too, for his help in entertaining the public, or, maybe a pair of suspenders would be acceptable. In March we tired a roller skating party. All who went had a good time. Our second year is ending And how grown up we feel. We've had a lot of fun But saddened to think we're half done.

We have a large group of freshmen this year and most of them come from rural schools. On October 4, 1946 the seniors initiated us by having the girls wear men's clothes. They also made us bow to every senior we met and carry their books to every class. Although we felt very odd we provided humor for the rest cf the school. We were supposed to have a hay-ridw which ended as a party at Fin1ay's because of the bad storm. Miss Morton acted as chapercon. Our class officers are President-Mickey Mergle, Vice- President-Charlotte Scott, Secretary-Raymond Swenson, Treasurer-Jack Van Horn. After suffering through our initiation and our first 7 year at high school we realize it was worth all our patience and fortitude.
