The 1985 Prom, Tropical Paradise, with the theme song “Jungle Love” was held in the high school gym on April 19. Couples entered through the front doors to find themselves in a cave; then into the gym and up and over a bridge with waterfalls on both sides. The middle of the gym displayed a running stream with greenery around it. This year’s music was provided by the Electric and Video Company. Vincent Miller and Missy Mote were crowned into royalty by the reigning King and Queen Von Ebeling and Karin Good. After-prom festivities were held at the Eagles and included dancing, prizes and refreshments. 1. Wayne Austin and his date arrive at the prom. 2. Lee Ann Carson, Ranee Prescott and Melissa Conklin watch the proceedings. 3. Scott Flcshcr and Sandy Perkins clown for the camera. 4. Rafacla Farias, Stacy Wenger and Rusty Zimmers seem amazed at the proceedings. 5. Everyone enjoys the band. 6. Patrice Prescott, Stacy Mills, Paula Williams and Laura Fields provide refreshments. 7.
