NHS members tried to display the qualities of leadership, scholarship, character, and service by participating in several useful activities this year. They provided a coat check at all home varsity basketball games. made special tapes for Mr. Baum’s classes, and hosted a Teacher Appreciation Day. In addition to these activities, each member did an individual project of his own choosing. The induction this year was held on Octo- ber 24th and thirteen new members were welcomed into the group. The new inductees and their parents were then honored at a reception following the ceremony in the school cafeteria. Liz Murphey, NHS President, introduces the new inductees.
