DEDICATIO Sometimes during the past years, it may have seemed to you that your efforts to educate our minds, train our bodies, and cultivate our manners were in vain, and you must have despaired of achieving any worthwhile results. But we wish you to believe that we are not insensible to all that you have done for us. You have been interested in us personally, and your kindness and patience have made our lives very pleasant and our tasks less difficult. We shall look back to these years as the most enjoyable and interesting of our lives, and to you as a sin- cere friend, one whom We will ever hold as an example of ideal womanhood.
