Seminary Bell This is a picture of the bell which rings in the tower of the Seminary Building. The bell was cast in Baltimore Md., in 1885. Likely this large bronze bell was lifted to its place in the belfry within a year after it was cast. Ever since that time it has been summoning children to graded school, young men and women to high school and since 1911 has also been calling students to Seminary classes to study the Bible and prepare for the calling the Lord has given them-some to the ministry, mission field, pastoral work, evangelism, to be better Sunday School teachers, or to be better mothers or fathersg yes, in general to be good Christian workers. The Seminary building is located on a beautiful campus, surrounded by many trees, and when this bell rings it can be heard for miles in every direction. Perhaps most of you have never heard this bell ring. But as you look at this picture perhaps God is calling you to prepare for His work. If this is where God is calling you to come and prepare, you will rejoice when you hear this bell ring out the time to come and enter the classroom to delve into the rich truths of the Word.
