In a warfare some things are of absolute necessity ,'f'4' l an enemy, a reason for war, a 1Ti6th0d of weapons, some sort f ig J for soldiers, and sometimes an 31 ly. .. We might well relate this Warfare to the future life of the graduating students of the high school department of Union Bible Seminary. We are now anticipating being graduated and going forth into perhaps the most trying and troublesome stage of life. We might well look forward to some hardships and battles. Satan, the enemy of our souls, will undoubtedly be constantly trying to defeat us in our efforts to serve the true and living God. In the sacred Scriptures-Isaiah 59:17, we are admonished to put on the Helmet of Salvation as a protection against the wiles of the Devil. It would be only to our defeat if we were to attempt to engage in this great battle alone, as some of our forefathers have experienced in times past, so we, the graduating students of the high school, are taking as our ally, One Who has never lost a battle-The man Christ Jesus, our Captain and Guide. We shall don the Helmet of Salvation and He being our helper, we together shall become unanimous victors over sin and Satan. If we will be faithful in putting on the Helmet of Salvation and bear- ing the reproach of our enemies in this worldg we shall in the world to come, receive in turn for our helmet, a Starry Crown of Victory as our reward for having braved the battle of life. It will be Worth all in the end.
